Elder T wears a small to a medium. i dont really know what you're sending so his pant size is a 32 waist i think. he's pretty short. oh and by the way he's from the marshall islands. so he doesnt have a license. they dont really drive cars there. so i'm the full-time driver. just in case that doesnt scare you a little bit. and yes i hate driving in the snow. and what's the 12 days of christmas? i guess i'll find out tomorrow. (: yeah the work here has been going awesome. oh by the way just in case anyone sends me anything. i really have gotten a lot skinnier. (i'm not just making it up.) so i wear between a medium and a large. if anyone randomly decides to send pants i probably wear between a 36 and a 38. none of my pants fit. /: i have to layer them when i put on my belt. i think this is why brother m told me to watch my weight. i miss being fat. life was so much warmer. anyway we had an amazing week this week. it doesnt look like it on paper though. EVERY single one of our appointments this week cancelled. EVERY ONE!! but because our appointments cancelled we were able to be in the right place at the exact right time so that we could help them in a way only we could. one example: We have an investigator named J. She's been doing amazingly. she came to church for the second time in a row yesterday and she already acts like a member of the church, voulinteering for things, being excited about the gospel, and she reads the scriptures and feels the Spirit every day. She's been getting a lot of opposition from her husband who's she's separated with though. we hadnt planned to meet with her at all last week but we ended up meeting with her 3 times because of cancelations and we've made leaps and bounds in her progression in the gospel. anyway. we were trying to make up time because of a cancellation in andover (in case it's interesting that was B and C) we drove all the way back to Newton and Elder T wanted to meet with V R, a guy who's slowly becoming less active. after a pretty unsuccessful meeting with him he decided he wanted to go see B C, 14 year old member and J's brother. not five minutes had we been in the door when J calls and says she had just gotten in a huge fight with her husband about the church. She has a really hard time standing up to him and has been dominated by this guy for all four years of their marriage. he offered her an ultimatum that he wouldnt see them anymore if she kept going to the mormon church. she completely took a stand for the church and kicked him out and told him how happy the church has made her feel and how much we and the church have helped her. her mom then told her that she had been searching her whole life for the true church and that she's found it and that nothing and no one can stop her from being happy. it was awesome. we rushed over there so that we could help her out because we could hear the whole phone call but she didnt know we were there and she said she just needed someone to talk to like the missionaries. so we ran over there with b and we had an awesome meeting with her and she felt the Spirit so strongly. i've never seen someone beg to be a member of the church like she does through her diligent study, questions, actions, and earnest to learn. we're setting the baptismal date with her tomorrow for January 24. but i wont be there because we're going on companion exchanges tomorrow and i'm going to the North area. i'm pretty bummed about it but it's the Spirit which brings about the mighty change of heart and i know that she will know that. This work is truly amazing and every day i see something that makes me realize how closely our Heavenly Father is involved in our lives and how reliance in him can bring great blessings. I hope you all are doing well and this week you guys should keep your eyes out for ways in which the Lord will bless you this week. Pray for them and seek for them. They are everywhere. You just have to recognize them for what they are.
