E-mails received 11/30/09

new jersey is awesome. my area is sparta south! it's up by the pennsylvania border. it's rich upper class area. i have two people with a baptismal date! they're struggling with the word of wisdom though so we'll have to see if that will go through. thanksgiving i had way to much food. i just about died. oh you should know i'm like really skinny now. i'm down to 240. i have a really flat tummy and all that good stuff. like pre cameron bruce. umm i actualy have to go but i'll send another email.

cool. althought i think mya should've won but donnie was my second chioce. um i dont know that we really do have a very valid mailing address here. /: i think you can just send stuff to the mission home and that'll be good enought. i'm not totally sure. so i dont know what i said in the last email so you'll probably get repeats of stuff.  umm we get fed by members more than we get fed ourselves. the members here are EXTREMLY involved in missionary work. like at church there's a section of ward announcements dedicated to it and it's the most publicized. it's kinda cool actually. but yeah we hardly ever eat at home. we just went grocery shopping and i got a lot of stuff but i dont know if i'll get the chance to eat it all. we eat breakfast at home and then the rest is usually at a member's house. oh our car died today too. the battery is no good so it's in the shop right now. oh i dont know if i said this already. my area is called Sparta South. it's HUGE! like if the are were olympia, lacey, tumwater combined that's about how big the sparta area is. our apartment is perfect for our needs but it smells kinda funny in the bathroom. squeekiest bed i've ever slept in. my companion is elder T. he's from the marshall islands and he has a very thick accent. he's a great missionary though. we get along really well. he plays the ukulele. so it's good. there's a family here called the m's who are awesome. they're like the most active family in the ward and they work a lot with the missionaries. they're awesome. we were at their house when i wrote the first email. anyway i'm like dying out here without sister b. i got to see her yesterday though at a missionary fireside which was really nice. none of our investigators came though. /: sad. i really hope the c's can give up smoking and drinking because then they'll be my first baptism! that would  be soo cool! the work here is amazing! it can't even be described. it's getting very cold here. it rains a lot just like washington but apparently this is a very mild winter. usually there's like two feet of snow by now but we've just gotten rain so far. it's kind of dreary today actually. anyway. send ties! i'm so fed up with my ties already. it's insane actually. and send letters! even though you dont have an address. i really dont know how the mail works because elder thomas never gets any so he doesnt really know how it works either. so i dont really have an address to give you. /: sorry. tell everyone i love them and make sure that m and dad do their assignments. oh and maybe a little explanation on m's scripture is that the Lord loveth who he chasteneth. meaning that hard times and trials come to those who the Lord loves because he wants us to grow and if we are able to endure it well( meaning enduring it with faith in Christ and the faith that it will be better for us in the end) we can come out the conquerer, the wiser, and the stronger. and tell dad that it's no laughing matter. and that everything i said in that letter i was 100% serious about. love you mom! oh and give my email out to people! i want more people to talk to! try and get it to b l if you can. (: oh and k.t. sorry i didnt have any scriptures for you. you don't really have problems that need solving. if you come up with any tell me about them and i'll find the answer. you can always find the answers to your problems in the scriptures and through prayer. oh mom by the way (you won't like this) i lost my ring. i know it's in my apartment somewhere. but i went to sleep with it on. and because i've lost so much weight my ring size is down so much on my middle finger that it probably just slid off and i didnt have time to look for it this morning. but if you could send me the black spinner ctr ring that would be awesome. if you can't find it if you could order just a plain silver ctr ring with the sheild on it that would be awesome too. not a silver ring with a green shield but a silver ring with a silver shield. i know they're there and i think they're fairly cheap. either way i NEED a ctr ring. oh and if you do order one make it a size 13 cuz the 14 is way too big. like even for my thumb. so yeah. love you all!
